Google Nexus 7 LTE Android 4.4.4 KitKat Factory Images Now Available for Download

Google has finally taken time to release the first official Android 4.4.4 KitKat Factory Image build for the LTE 2013 Google Nexus 7 tablet. Now all users that were waiting for this are now capable of restoring their devices to complete stock KitKat 4.4.4 ROM by installing the factory image files.

Besides the Android 4.4.4 KitKat factory image release, Google has also released the official binaries, too. Now, with this new official stock KitKat factory image you can use it and  get back to 100% stock Android 4.4.4 KitKat even if you have installed tons of custom ROMs over other custom ROMs or you have flashed any other custom kernels or similar customizations on your Nexus 7 20143 LTE device.

This will probably be the final KitKat factory image that we will see released for any device, as Google is currently preparing the launch of the Android L (5.0?) OS Upgrade. This latest build of Android 4.4.4 KitKat has firmware build number set to KTU84P and it can be installed on your device via ADB commands and the fastboot mode menu. Note that if you flash such factory image on your LTE Nexus 7 2013 tablet, then you will end up wiping every single file that is currently stored on it.

The 2013 Nexus 7 LTE binaries are basically drivers for various hardware parts of your device. These are usually destined for AOSP developers, so that they can easily launch new custom ROMs and other similar customizations.

The Android 4.4.4 KitKat factory image can be installed on your device manually, there is no automatic method that is capable of flashing such files for any Google device. Nexus 7 2013 LTE has the codename set to “razorg”, find that menu and download the correct KTU84P Android 4.4.4 factory image file. Make sure to create backups for all the files before starting the installation of such file on your tablet.
