Google has launched the official Android L Preview Factory Image for the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi 2013 Edition.
The Factory Images are launched so that developers will work on releasing their brand new Android upgrade which should become one of their biggest ever releases as the whole UI will be revamped and, there will be tons of great new features and functions along with better battery life, new Google Play Services edition for a truly greater Google Android experience.
With the Factory Image of Android L Preview you will be able to test it on your Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi model and see the brand new Material Design UI / UX in action. With Android L Preview installed on your tablet you should know that you will surely find bugs and errors as it should only be used for testing purposes.
Installing a Factory Image of Android L Preview on your Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi ins’t that difficult, but you should know that it will wipe all data from your tablet in the process. Install it at your own risk. The official and final Android L Update will be available in the fall and it is rumored to be numbered as Android 5.0.

The Google Nexus 4 and Google Nexus 10 will not receive the Android L Preview Factory Images any soon. So, if you want to test the Android L Preview operating system before all the other users, then you might try to consider buying a Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi tablet or a Nexus 5 smartphone.
You should first configure the Android SDK on your computer in order to install the USB Drivers for your tablet. These drivers can be installed by running the Android SKD Manager.

Download the file on your PC, unzip the .tgz archive and then unzip the .tar file, too. Connect your Nexus 7 to your computer and then launch a command prompt where you’ve save the files. Unlock the bootloader of your tablet with “fastboot oem unlock’ command and then launch the “Flash-all’ script to begin the process.
