The Nexus 10 Android 4.4.3 OTA update is finally pushed to users. The Android 4.4.3 OTA roll out for Nexus 10 comes only three days after the new software update has been made available for download for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 2013.
The Nexus 10 Android 4.4.3 update has build number KTU84L and just like for any other software update the roll out is being made in stages, meaning that some owners might have to wait a bit longer to be able to download the new firmware over-the-air. As you may know, once your tablet becomes eligible to receive Android 4.4.3, you should be able to see a system update message in the notification bar. Tap on it, then follow the on-screen instructions.
In case the system update notification doesn’t show up, you should also check for it manually under Settings > About tablet > System updates > Check now.
Just like everybody anticipated we’re dealing with a minor update, therefore the Android 4.4.3 OTA update for Nexus 10 focuses on bug fixes and stability and performance improvements. The most notable UI change brought by the new update is the new Phone dialer which introduces a card-based interface for the favorite contacts section and a new color scheme for the dialer itself.
If you haven’t received the Nexus 10 Android 4.4.3 KTU84L OTA update on your terminal, hear that you can also flash it manually as the OTA Zip file has been made available for download. First download the KTU84L OTA Zip file from here, then if you’re running a custom recovery you can flash directly like you would any other ZIP. If you’re on stock recovery boot in recovery mode, select apply update from adb, connect the tablet to the PC, and execute “adb sideload” command from command prompt. If you have no idea what you’re doing you should wait a couple more hours until we post a detailed tutorial on how to flash Android 4.4.3 OTA update zip on Nexus 10.
