Galaxy V Specs Revealed: Mid-Range Performances for only $100

If you’re interested in buying a new Android based smartphone but you are on a budget then you should head your attention towards mid-range handsets, as you will be able to receive decent performances on really affordable price tags. In that matter you can already choose the Motorola Moto G, the recently released Moto E or the confirmed Galaxy Ace NXT.

Another similar Android KitKat powered smartphone that will soon be released through various markets is the Galaxy V, which was just confirmed and detailed by Samsung. Currently the phone is listed as “available soon” in Vietnam, but it will embrace other markets too, probably during the following weeks.

Now, as already mentioned, the Galaxy V is nothing but another mid range Android based smartphone. So, don’t expect to find something really interesting here, since the specs list is revealing only outdated performances. In that matter, the Galaxy V is coming with only 512 MB of RAM, a single core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, a 3 MP rear facing camera with LED flash, a VGA front facing camera, 4 inch display, 4 GB of internal storage, micro SD card slot and a 1,500mAh battery.

The phone will also feature Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G support along with Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware which will come pre-installed. It is really interesting to see how the Galaxy V will perform on KitKat with Samsung’s own UI installed since there are only 512 MB of RAM available.

Of course these are performances that can satisfy only an entry level Android user who is on his first experience. Anyway, the best is that KitKat comes right out of the box, which makes the Galaxy V a really affordable device, the phone being priced at only $100.
