The HTC One (E8) started off in China (where it saw great demand) and is slowly moving west – through India and soon Russia. The info comes from local site Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru, which says the alternative flagship will be available ins month at RUB 25,000.
That works out to €530, which may seem steep but keep in mind that prices in Russia are higher than in Europe, the HTC One (M8) costs RUB 30,000 or €635.
The HTC One (E8) is based on the One (M8), except it drops the trademark metal unibody for polycarbonate and upgrades the camera to 13MP (no dual-camera tricks though). Also, it's a dual-SIM device. Other than that is based on the same 5" 1080p screen and Snapdragon 801 chipset.
The alt-flagship will be available in HTC's own web store and DNS.
