The South Korean phone maker introduced their flagship smartphone for 2014 more than a month ago. Even though the LG G3 was made available in LG’s home country immediately after the launch event, the smartphone has yet to debut in the US.
The folks at Verizon officially revealed their plans regarding the LG G3 availability today. Big Red will start selling the LG flagship as of July 17. This means that we know G3′s availability for all four biggest carriers in the US: the AT&T LG G3 debuts July 11, T-Mobile will start selling it July 17, Verizon on July 17, and Sprint sales debut July 18.
Now that we know when the LG G3 will hit Verizon’s brick and mortar stores, let’s talk Verizon LG G3 price. According to the smartphone’s page, Verizon is offering the 5.5-inch smartphone for $99.99 after you agree to sign a two-year contract with them. This is half the price of what AT&T is asking for the G3 with a two-year contract.
You will also be able to purchase the LG G3 from Verizon via EDGE for zero-down then split the payment into 20 monthly fees of $29.99 each. If signing contracts with carriers is not your thing you can also purchase the Verizon LG G3 off-contract at $599.
I remind you that the LG G3 boasts about a 5.5-inch True HD-IPS + LCD display with an amazing resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 534 ppi, while being underpinned by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. It also comes with a 13 MP primary camera with laser autofocus, OIS, and 4K video recording support, 2.1 MP user-facing camera, 3,000 mAh battery, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
The good news is that the US market will receive the 32 GB storage and 3 GB of RAM LG G3 model, while the international variant sports 16 GB of native storage and only 2 GB of RAM.
