The Amazon Fire Phone is now available in the USA, as well as a very nice bundle from HP. We are also taking a look at a very interesting new device.
Amazon Fire Phone now available from AT&T
The Amazon Fire Phone comes with good specs, innovative features and a good design, but is that enough to please the consumer? Reviews have proved otherwise, but if you want to give the device a try, it is now available from AT&T.
The device went on sale with no hype or fanfare. It can be had for $649.99 off-contract or $199.99 on a 2-year contract. You can also opt to get it for $32.50 a month via AT&T Next.
Opinion: Amazon doesn’t quite pull me as a customer, in the smartphone market. Their phone is not quite special, and the unique features it does have are mostly gimmicks (in my opinion).
Moto X+1 leaked images
New images of a Motorola device have shown up, displaying what looks like a rather unique. The device at hand has a wooden back and what seems like a metallic Motorola logo. It’s surrounded with what seems like a metal frame and sports a plastic front.
It is believed this could be the Moto X+1, which makes sense. The device looks like a slightly larger Moto X, and its build quality looks superior to the Moto E and Moto G.
Opinion: I have been a long-time fan of the wooden designs in the Moto X, so you can imagine how exciting this leak is for me. The build quality also looks superb.
HP Chromebox monitor bundle
Those looking to get a desktop set-up with a Chromebox can now get a complete bundle from HP. This bundle would include an HP Chromebox (base model), a 22-inch monitor, a keyboard and a mouse.
The price would amount to $339.97, offering you about a $60 discount. Those interested can head straight to HP’s website to learn more.
Opinion: This happens to be cheaper than the LG Chromebase, which costs about $350. You could save $10, but you could also enjoy LG’s integrated system. Which do you prefer?
