News: Amazon unveils Kindle Unlimited, Xiaomi Mi 4 won’t have a steel body, Conan O’Brien tries Tinder

Amazon is introducing its new subscription service! Meanwhile, Xiaomi is giving us some sad news and Conan O’Brien gives us yet another geeky laugh.

Amazon introduces Kindle Unlimited

Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited testing didn’t take long. The online retailer has unveiled their new Kindle Unlimited program. The subscription-based service would allow users to consume an unlimited amount of books and audiobooks for just $9.99 a month. Users would have a selection of over 600,000 books at their disposal.

While users can keep books for as long as they wish, Amazon is putting limits on the amounts of books you can hold at a time, which amounts to ten. As previously-rumored, popular book series like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Hunger Games will be available, along with many others.

Opinion: I have signed up for the trial and can’t wait to see how good this service is. I just have to wonder how wide their selection really is. We all know quantity doesn’t equal quality!

Xiaomi executive says Mi 4 won’t have a steel body

It seems a steel invitation and a steel background on teasers are not enough to prove the Mi 4 will have a steel body. In fact, Xiaomi’s own Liwan Jiang has gone out and told us the device will not have a stainless steel back.

Opinion: Will the frame be made of steel? we don’t know just yet, but we were hoping for a device that is built mostly out of metal.
