Sony Xperia Z2 arrives in the U.S. with unlocked SIM slot, $699.99 price tag

Remember earlier this year when Sony said that the Xperia Z2 would go on sale in the U.S. during the summer? Well it’s now summer and the Xperia Z2 is now available for purchase, just like Sony promised that it would be.

The Xperia Z2 recently made its way onto the virtual shelves of Sony’s online store. Available in black, white and purple, the Xperia Z2 is priced at $699.99. Unfortunately for anyone interested in giving the Xperia Z2 a home in their pocket, the device is currently backordered with no expected ship date available.
