"Tekken 7" was announced at the Evolution Championship Series fighting game tournament in Las Vegas by Bandai Namco on Sunday night.
According to Polygon, the game will be the first one since "Tekken 6" in 2007 and will use the Unreal Engine 4.
The company did not reveal a release date but they did leave Tekken fans with a teaser trailer that hints that there will be more information revealed at the fighting panel during the San Diego Comic-Con on July 25th.

In other fighting game news, a new for "Mortal Kombat X" was released over the weekend that revealed the inclusion of Raiden in the game.
The "Thunder God" has been a part of the franchise since it's inception in 1992. The clip show's some of Raiden's combos and finishing sequences. The clip is NSFW due to graphic violence so you may have to wait to watch it later.

"Mortal Kombat X" was announced for a release on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC last month, according to Warner Bros.
IGN reported that the game will have a 2015 release and will be shown at E3 next week.
A press release by Warner Bros. revealed more about the game and said that gamers will have a brand new experience with this edition of the "Mortal Kombat" series.
"Mortal Kombat X combines cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever, offering a new fully-connected experience that launches players into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy. For the first time, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style. Players step into an original story showcasing some of the game's most prolific characters including Scorpion and Sub-Zero, while introducing new challengers that represent the forces of good and evil and tie the tale together."
