So you like using your iPhone to take pictures — but are you really using your iPhone camera to its fullest potential? A new video featuring photographer Lorenz Holder shows you seven new ways to make your iPhone 5s camera more useful than ever before by giving you new tips and tricks for taking photos that will wow your friends.
Among other things, the video will show you have to take panoramic photos where one person can appear multiple times in different positions throughout the picture to make it look as though they’ve created duplicates of themselves; how to use a pair of binoculars to serve as a zoom lens that will let you take more closeup pictures that don’t sacrifice pixel density; how to transform your iPhone’s camera lens into a makeshift macro lens using only a straw and a small drop of water; and how to create a do-it-yourself cardboard tripod that will help you set up steadier pictures.
The video was produced by The Cooperative of Photography, which describes itself as “a community-focused online mag about photography” that “celebrates individualism, expression and sincerity.”
