New to iOS? You may want to consider checking out Beats Music app.
That's what Apple wants you to consider, at least.
Apple has reportedly added the Beats Music app to an iOS 7 popup that welcomes first time visitors to the App Store on iOS devices, according to 9to5Mac. Beats is featured on the "Apple Apps" popup along with the tagline, "Listen to music that's always right for you."
Apple recently completed its purchase of Beats Music and Beats Electronics for $3 billion.
Beats Music does not currently show up in iOS 8 popups in the App Store or in the "Apps Made By Apple" category, but that is expected to be changed in the coming weeks.
New users can now try out Beats Music for free for 14 days. After that, users can keep the service for $9.99 per month. As 9to5Mac notes, Apple's inclusion of Beats, an app that requires a monthly service fee, suggests it will be ramping up its marketing of Beats in time for the holidays to pair it with the tech giant's upcoming hardware refreshes.
One of those upcoming hardware releases, of course, will be the new iPhone, which is expected to be announced on Sept. 9 at an Apple event.
Specs rumors for the sixth-generation iPhone include an Apple A8, mobile payment integration, Touch ID and an improved camera. The same color options offered in the iPhone 5S (Silver, Gold and Space Gray) have also been tipped for the iPhone 6 in a recent leak.
Meanwhile, only those who shell out enough dough for the 64GB version may be able to get their hands on the highly-rumored sapphire glass displays, Cult of Mac reports.
With various reports suggesting Apple may not be able to produce enough of the sapphire displays to meet initial demand, it is entirely possible that only the most expensive iPhone 6 models could include the feature. While some believe it could be limited exclusively to the 64GB version of the 5.5-inch model, Cult of Mac calculates that it's more likely the 64GB variants of both sizes (4.7 and 5.5 inches) will get the sapphire glass.
