All three major mobile operating systems now have a virtual assistant, but there still isn’t a final verdict on which is the best. In fact, with such frequent updates, it might be impossible to ever declare a winner, but that doesn’t mean we can’t constantly compare the three anyway. Earlier this year, WPCentral posed the same questions to all three assistants at once in order to see which was more effective.
In another series of videos stretching all the way back to last November, Phonebuff has been testing each assistant individually to see how they respond to 50 unique voice commands. Google Now was the first candidate, then came Siri, and now it’s Cortana’s turn. Even though Cortana is still technically in beta on Windows Phone 8.1, it still seems to perform just as well as Apple and Google’s assistants.
One way that Cortana might overtake its rivals is by being included on Windows 9 when it ships. There are even rumors that Windows users will get a chance to take desktop Cortana for a spin when the technology preview launches in the coming weeks.
Check out all three videos below and see if you can decide which virtual assistant is the most capable of the bunch.
