I just wanted to clear up some concerned messages I have received from users.
A few people have reported files being quarantined after a notification from McAfee reporting an Artemis trojan. Artemis is the term used by McAfee for an unknown file being scanned. This is caused because the compiler used to make the exe files does not contain a microsoft digital certificate which verifies the files authenticity. I have reported the false positives to McAfee and hopefully they will be removed soon but I want to assure users that receive messages by their Antivirus programs that there are absolutely NO viruses/trojans of any kind in the Toolkit. Never have been and never will be.
If you receive any messages you can safely reinstate the file if it has been quarantined. It is probably better to exclude the Toolkit installation folder from future scans to stop false positives being reported again. I will look in to how to stop this happening but please know you can use the Toolkit totally safely.
Mark.
