Motorola announced earlier this month that they will be holding a press event on September 4th. Even though the Chicago-based phone maker hasn’t revealed what devices will be introduced at the said event, everyone is hoping that Moto X+1 will be one of them. Even though we’ve dealt with lots of Moto X+1 leaked photos, rumors, and reports in the past, today’s leak is a bit more special.
This is the clearest Moto X+1 leaked image so far, allowing us to take a closer look at the handset’s design. The new leak also confirms the previously-rumored wood case. As you can see for yourself, this is the Verizon variant of the smartphone and the rear-mounted Verizon logo is there to confirm it.
As you may know, the well-known leaker Even Blass aka @evleaks, recently announced he is retiring. But before hanging up his boots for good, Evleaks brought us this clear photo of the Moto X+1, saying this is his retirement gift to us. We thank him and wish him the best of luck.
Since I was mentioning about the Verizon logo above, I remind you that Big Red will reportedly be one of the first US carriers to sell the new Moto X+1. If the reports are accurate, then Moto X+1 will land in Verizon’s store later next month, on September 25.
But what do we know about the Moto X+1 hardware so far? I’m glad you’ve asked. The rumor mill speculates that the next-gen Motorola flagship will arrive with a 5.2-inch screen with 1080p resolution, quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 32 GB of native storage, 12 MP primary camera, 5 MP secondary camera, and a 2,900 mAh battery.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to verify the veracity of the report, and even though @evleaks has great reputation, we are advising you to take it with a pinch of salt. After all, nothing is official until Motorola says so.
