Motorola is expected to launch up to eight Android smartphones this year, including the Moto X+1 and Nexus X flagships, but also affordable devices such as the Moto G2, the successor of last year’s extremely popular and very affordable Moto G. Motorolaleaker HellomotoHK has revealed more details about the upcoming Moto G2 handset on Facebook, and posted several pictures of the handset.
According to HellomotoHK, the Moto G2 may be unveiled as soon as September 4th, during Motorola’s upcoming media event, although actual release dates and pricing information for the handset aren’t available at this time.
The leaker further revealed the Moto G2 will pack a big 5-inch display with 720p resolution and thinner bezels, 8-megapixel camera, dual SIM support, microSD support, and a removable back cover that will let users customize it with help of swappable Motorola Shells.
Other rumored specs for the Moto G2 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 process, 1GB of RAM, and up to 16GB of storage.
