Welcome to a new ‘Best Android Games of the Week’ article, check the titles that are listed below and see if you can find a new favorite game for you to play endlessly on your Android smartphone or tablet. Most titles that we’ve posted here are free to play and only one will require you to pay a small fee in order to get it installed on your device.
Check all the video games below and make sure to test all of them if you can, and then tell us in comments which is the one that has impressed you the most. Some games are free to install and play, but there are several titles that are featuring in-app purchases which means that you can buy extra gear in order to complete levels and missions faster. Anomaly Defenders – $3.99
A new title is now live in the Anomaly tower defense video game series and you can get it right now from Google Play Store for $2.99. This new Defenders title is the last one in the Anomaly series. Now, the humans are close to wiping out the entire Alien race and in this game you will have to fight against your own kind, as it seems like the human race has gone a little too far in their quest.
This a great tower defense and it comes at a great price for what it has in store for everyday gamers. You can install the Anomaly Defenders video game for all Android 2.2 and later OS versions. Install it fromhere.
Asphalt Overdrive – FREE
Asphalt video game series has reached the ‘endless racer’ phase and it now offers us the possibility of escaping the police with the Overdrive title. In this game the only thing that you need to do is to avoid being caught by the Asphalt police while gaining nitro boosts by making tight escapes, jump over ramps, driving very fast and performing various stunts.
This game can be installed for free from Google Play Store here. It can be installed on all Android 4.0 and later versions, but note that this game features in-app purchases and you can use them in order to score better with each try.
Linken – FREE
This is a great small but complex Android video game. It might possibly drive you crazy while you’re attempting to solve all the puzzles that are thrown at your. Each shape has to be linked and transformed into a complete path, which is when you can say that you’ve passed the level.
Linken for Android is free to play, but you can still use the in-app purchases system in order to buy power ups and other things that will help you complete levels easier. Get Linken from here and install it on Android 2.3.3 or later devices.
The Tower – FREE
This game is easy to play and it offers a basic gameplay: just try and build the world’s tallest tower by simply tapping on your phone’s screen. The game is free to play and it doesn’t feature any in-app purchases.

Cardinal Quest 2 – FREE
All the titles that are listed above can be considered easier than the Cardinal Quest 2 title. In this game you will find ways of defeat that you’ve thought that you will find in Android video games. In this game it is possible to achieve a perfect game and lose badly in the next game you start. Control six different characters and try to see if you can beat the game using the best possible strategies.
Install Cardinal Quest 2 for your Android 2.3 or later video game fromhere. Note that the game is free to play, but you can choose to use the in-app purchases system in case you want to buy better gear. I usually don’t use in-app purchases and see where my roleplaying gaming skills are taking me, but this title has managed to convince me that sometimes is better to take the easy way out.
99 Problems – FREE
This is a free small and simplistic video game that requires you to tap the screen in order to jump across the screen. While you’re jumping you have to make sure that you won’t touch any single thing that’s being placed in your way. Avoid all blocks and try to stay on the screen for as long as you can.
