A new week is here and we’re glad to present a brand new list comprising seven of the best Android video game titles released in the last seven days. Check the list and see if you can find a brand new favorite game to play on your Android tablet or smartphone.
Most titles that are presented in this post are free to play, but you will also be able to get rid of ads or, get better gear and currency by using the “in-app purchases” system. The article contains only small reviews, so you should also check each game’s corresponding Google Play Store web page in order to find out what others are saying, too. Without going into any further details, here’s the list of this week’s Best Android Video Games:
FIFA 15 Ultimate Team – FREE
All over Europe the football season is under way and EA Sports has launched the mobile version of FIFA 15. This new game comes with the ‘Ultimate Team’ title tag and it brings improved graphics, Quick Simulation Mode, Ultimate Team Mode, Classic Controls, and with 3D support for the best Android devices.
Get the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team video game from Google Play Storehere. The game works with any device running Android 3.0 and later, but you should use a Wi-Fi Connection after deciding to install it on your device, as the file size download goes over 1.2GB. Note that this game contains in-app purchases.
Interstellar – FREE
In November we will see Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar arriving in theaters all over the world, so Paramount has decided to launch an Android game that goes with the movie. Mobile gamers can use this Interstellar game to immerse themselves in Nolan’s space world just in time for the movie’s launch.
Interstellar for Android puts you in the pilot seat of Endurance. Steer the spaceship and avoid getting caught in gravitational field using all the tricks you can learn in a couple of minutes of gameplay. The game is great and it feels great, as you will be immediately swooped in while moving from solar system to solar system. Get Interstellar for Android 4.0 and later from Google Play Store here for free without any in-app purchases.
Star Wars: Commander – FREE
If you are a fan of Star Wars and Clash of Clans, then this Android video game is the one that you should try. Also, note that Star Wars Commander is filled with in-app purchases and you should know that before installing it.
Travel to distant planets and start battles with other players, or choose to defend your base against villainous factions, challenge your friends using social media links and do whatever you can in order to defeat all your enemies. Install this strategy game from Google Play Store for free on any Android 2.3.3 and later versions.
BombSquad – FREE
This is one of funniest games I’ve played in the last few months and that’s because it pits you against other friends of yours in a game of who destroy who faster and easier. Use Ice bombs, land mines, circular bombs, TNT, boxing gloves or anything you can find on the battlefield in order to beat your friends in BombSquad.
This game supports up to eight players at the same time, all of them can choose to play using Bluetooth controllers or they can use the BombSquad Remote app designed by the same game developer. The game is free to play, but it contains ads and it limits the game to only three players.
Get BombSquad for Android 4.0 and later from Google Play Store. If you wish to use another phone as a controller, then you can grab the Remote software for this game from here. If you wish to get rid of the ads and the 3-player limit then you can use the in-app purchases system and pay $4.99.
The listed video games are some of the best titles recently released for Android devices. Make sure to check the following titles: Light in the Dark ($1.99), AntiSquad Tactics Premium $4.99 here or free version here, and Boogey Boy (free). Also, if you can think of other great video games that were released in the last few weeks, then make sure to tell us in comments.
