Here’s yet another freaky ‘accident’ your iPhone 6 Plus won’t survive

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are both well-built devices, but they’re not indestructible. Their displays aren’t made of sapphire glass, and they may shatter when dropped from certain heights and on certain angles. Even more annoyingly, the metal body may bend if held into a pocket for too long, as some customers have found out. Obviously, if such regular accidents can affect the health of Apple’s new iPhones, then you shouldn’t expect it to survive stranger ones.

YouTube channel Rated RR, which does all sorts of things to devices, and most recently tried to blend the iPhone 6, decided to see if the iPhone 6 Plus could survive being immersed in liquid nitrogen and then hit with a sledgehammer.

Sure, the combo is not the every day accident for a smartphone, but just in case you find yourself in a situation where your iPhone 6 Plus falls into liquid nitrogen, then you definitely shouldn’t whack it with a sledgehammer afterward. Yes, we spoiled the ending on this one, but did you really think the iPhone 6 Plus, or any smartphone for that matter, can or should survive such ordeal?
