Last week Android fans came out with an infographic that mocked the iPhone 6 for just now getting certain specifications and features that have been present in some Android phones for nearly two years. Now, via Sonny Dickson, it seems Apple fans have returned the favor by pointing out that some of the new features coming toGoogle’s upcoming Android L release that have been on the iPhone for years.
As you can see, the graphic mocks above Android L for only now adding features such as lock screen notifications and support for 64-bit chips that iOS has had for at least a year. It also points out some of the other ways that Android has been trailing behind iOS in some features. That said, the most brutal point that the graphic makes is the last one: “Enjoy Android L (if it ever comes to your phone)!”
iPhone users’ ability to get the latest software updates as soon as they’re released has been something that even those of us who are loyal Android users must admit that we envy. And when Android L comes out later this fall, we’re going to have to wait for both our device’s manufacturers and our carriers to sign off on the updates before we finally get them, which for many flagship devices takes more than two months.
