T-Mobile MVNO, Solavei, planning to introduce ‘Phase Two’ in October
T-Mobile MVNO Solavei is looking to shake things up and introduce its “Phase Two” plan on October 1. Solavei is one of the more interesting MVNOs in the US, using a unique referral program to benefit existing customers. But Solavei filed for bankruptcy in May, causing it to rethink its strategy and work out a better strategy. That’s what Phase Two is all about and Solavei has shared a little bit of what that will include.
Phase Two will include a new structure for compensation when it comes to referrals as well as a larger focus on the Hispanic market, which makes up 70 percent of Solavei’s customer base. The third aspect of it will include further offerings in the Solavei Marketplace, which is Solavei’s rewards program that offers discounts and rebates on lots of products.
While Solavei has a strategy that could be great, it only works with enough people on board, which is the trouble that Solavei has run into. Nonetheless, the company fully expects to be out of bankruptcy within the next few months. With any luck, Solavei will work its way back to profitability and hopefully take some cues from its pals at T-Mobile to work to shake the market up.
