SamMobile directs our attention to a new video from AndroidMX that shows off both the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A3, which are tipped to be midrange devices that will serve as a bridge to Samsung’s next flagship phone that’s coming next year.
As you can see, both devices have similar builds to the Galaxy Alpha, which ditched the rounded edges that Samsung has traditionally used for its smartphones in favor of a metal frame with sharper edges.
The Galaxy A5 is particularly noteworthy because it features an aluminum unibody, which is a first for a Samsung smartphone. According to SamMobile, the Galaxy A5 will feature “a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel secondary camera, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 16GB of internal storage, and a 2,330 mAh battery” and will sell for between $400 and $450 off contract.
Leaked video may give us a hint of what’s to come with the Galaxy S6
