New leak reveals the Droid Turbo’s beastly two-day battery

If battery life is the thing you want most from your smartphone, then you may want to wait a couple of weeks to check out the Motorola Droid Turbo, which will likely deliver the biggest smartphone battery in any flagship device we’ve seen this year. Android Police has obtained some leaked marketing materials for the upcoming Motorola phone and has confirmed earlier rumors that the device will feature a gigantic 3,900mAh battery, which it notes should last you for two days with normal usage.
But that’s not all — Android Police points out that it won’t take long to charge the device to make sure you have enough juice in it to use throughout the whole workday.
“As it’s done with the Moto X, Motorola continues to push charging time as a differentiator, and the Droid Turbo will get 8 hours of use from a charge of just 15 minutes from the bundled Motorola Turbo Charger, it’s claimed,” Android Policewrites. “What’s more, a wireless charging back is included for hassle-free charging.”
According to earlier leaks, the Droid Turbo will feature absolutely brutish specs, including a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor that runs at 2.65GHz, a 19-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat For comparison, the new Moto X features a 5.2-inch full HD 1080p, a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, a 13-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat.
