Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) 32GB Launched at Rs. 32,999; 16GB Gets Price Cut
The Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) 32GB variant has been launched in India at Rs. 32,999, while the price of the previously available 16GB variant of the Moto X (Gen 2) has been slashed to Rs. 29,999 from the earlier Rs. 31,999, when it was launched in September.
Last week, the Motorola had officially listed the 32GB variant on Flipkart without price, as "Coming on December 22 with exciting offers".
There are two offers that the Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) 32GB variant is available with - up to Rs. 6000 discount in exchange of old smartphone and 10 percent discount for Standard Chartered bank customers with credit/ debit cards.
Both variants of the Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) come with identical specifications, except the storage difference, which is non-expandable.
The 32GB variant of the Moto X (Gen 2) also ships with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, but on Saturday the company announced that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the smartphone is rolling out.
Moto X (Gen 2) features a 5.2-inch (1080x1920 pixel) OLED display with a pixel density of 423ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Moto X (Gen 2) is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.25 lens with 4K video recording and dual-LED ring flash, as well a 2-megapixel front-facing camera capable of 1080p video recording.Connectivity options on the Moto X (Gen 2) include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 140.8x72.4x9.97mm, and weighs 144 grams. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery.
