Xolo Q900s Plus With 4.7-Inch HD Display Launched at Rs. 8,299
Xolo has launched the successor to its popular Q900s Android smartphone, called the Q900s Plus, priced at Rs. 8,299. The Xolo Q900s Plus is now listed on the company's site without availability details; however, we expect that the company will announce the handset in the coming days.
The firm claims that the Q900s Plus smartphone, with a weight of 100 grams, is the lightest Android smartphone available. Notably, the Xolo Q900s also weighed 100 grams.
The new Xolo smartphone expands the company's 'Q' quad-core smartphone series. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
It comes with a 4.7-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display and offers a pixel density of 312ppi, which is greater than the Q900s. The official listing also notes that Q900s Plus sports OGS (One Glass Solution) solution and scratch resistant Dragon Trail Glass.
The smartphone continues the Xolo Q range quad-core tradition and is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 302 GPU.
The Xolo Q900s Plus comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PureCel Sensor, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Xolo Q900s Plus includes 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.
The budget smartphone packs an 1800mAh battery, which according to the official listing, delivers up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 246 hours of standby time on 3G networks. The Xolo Q900s Plus measures 135.8x67.2x7.2mm and is listed in Black colour.
The smartphone features sensors such as accelerometer, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
