HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM with 13-megapixel OIS camera launched in India: Price, specifications and features

HTC has announced the launch of its Desire 828 Dual SIM smartphone in India.Priced at Rs 19,900, the smartphone will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting December 14.

Specifications and features: The HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM measures 157.7 x 78.9. x 7.9 mm and weighs 148 grams. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch full HD display. It runs on Android 5.1 with HTC Sense and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor along with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, supports expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD.

For photography, the Desire 828 Dual SIM 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, auto focus, BSI sensor, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and 1080p video recording. It has an Ultrapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, fixed focus, BSI sensor and 1080p video recording support.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack and micro-USB. The smartphone also features HTC Boomsound with Dolby Audio. It is powered by a 2,800 mAh battery.

The HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM is available in Dark Gray and Pearl White colors.

The Desire 828 comes shortly after HTC launched the One A9 mid-range smartphone with Snapdeal. Priced at Rs 29,990, the One A9 comes with Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 5-inch full HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4-UltraPixel front-facing camera.

The new Desire 828 will take on a slew of under Rs 20,000 Android smartphones such as the Asus Zenfone 2, Motorola Moto X Play and Xiaomi Mi 4.
