Lenovo confirms K4 Note will feature fingerprint sensor, to launch on January 5 in India
Lenovo yesterday sent out media invites for an event on January 5, where it will be launching the K4 Note. In the run up to the event, Lenovo has teased a key feature on the forthcoming phablet.
Lenovo put up a teaser on its Twitter account with a caption – ‘A killer phone always has killer security. Take your pick’. Right below the caption are images of four security options, including PIN code, password, patter and fingerprint. This teaser seems to be Lenovo’s way of confirming the fingerprint scanner feature on the K4 Note.
Lenovo K4 Note specifications and features: As per rumors, the K4 Note is expected to boast 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In addition to the fingerprint scanner, the phablet is also expected to boast a metal body. If Lenovo can price the K4 Note below Rs 10,000, it would turn out to be the phablet to look out for in the affordable segment.
In comparison, the Lenovo K3 Note featured a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek MT6752 octa-core 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal memory along with microSD card slot. It also featured a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 3,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, and 4G support.
