It seems like AT&T is on the verge of expanding their mid-range smartphones line-up with a new HTC model. Of course, if the leaked render that surfaced online via@evleaks proves to be the real deal.
The Desire 610, because that’s the HTC mid-range smartphone we’re talking about, is already up for grabs in most parts of Europe at €333 (that’s about $450).
The photo leaked by Evan Blass (aka Evleaks) has all AT&T’s specific apps on the homescreen. Furthermore, it was earlier rumored that the HTC mid-ranger will hit at least two US major carriers: AT&T and Verizon.
In terms of hardware specification, the HTC Desire 610 arrives with 4.7-inch screen with 540 x 960 resolution and 234 ppi pixel density, quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of microSD-expandable storage, 8 MP primary cam, 1.3 MP secondary cam, 2,040 mAh battery and all the connectivity features worthy of a modern smartphone, including LTE, HSPA, WiFi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. The terminal runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, customized with HTC’s proprietary Sense 5.5 interface.
Evleaks doesn’t mention anything about the date when the smartphone will be available at AT&T, nor about its pricing. Would you purchase one if the price is right?
