Moto X+1 Specs and Image Leak Online

Even though Motorola is no longer a Google company, the tech publications and the enthusiasts alike are looking forward towards the upcoming releases of the phone maker. Even though the folks Motorola are doing their best to keep their next-gen flagship secret, new leaks emerge on a weekly basis.

Unofficially dubbed Moto X+1 the new smartphone is the successor of the highly-appreciated Moto X and, hopefully, Motorola will bring speedy software updates for their new flagship, as well.

New information of the Moto X+1 surfaced online courtesy of TK Tech News, after the publication received some details about the device from an unnamed source. According to them, the new Motorola flagship will get its design inspired by the Droid Ultra line-up, but with more rounded corners and a dimpled, rounded back.

If the new report proves true, the Moto X+1 will arrive with a 1080p AMOLED display, an upgrade from the 720p AMOLED screen of the Moto X, 2 GB of RAM, and three storage options 16, 32, and 64 GB. It seems that the new handset will also have support for microSD cards.

TK Tech News’ source also indicated that Motorola is currently testing two different cameras for the new Moto X1, both representing an upgrade from the 10 MP ClearPixe sensor of the Moto X. Their source also revealed that the Moto X+1 release date will be late August or early September, depending on “the camera used in the final production device.”

Unfortunately, there is no way to verify the veracity of the report, therefore we are advising you to take with a pinch of salt as nothing is official until Motorola says so.
