Even though Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything yet, the Galaxy Mega 2 is a certain thing, the new Mega lineup being already prepared for a soon to come release. For now we only have rumors that are related to the 5.9 inch based Galaxy Mega 2, which apparently made a short visit through FCC, where an specialized approval has been ensured for the model number SM-G750A. This model of the new Galaxy Mega will most likely be launched by AT&T, though of course there isn’t further info available in that matter.
The new Galaxy Mega lineup will be similar with the previous Mega release, as those who wants to buy a gigantic smartphone without embracing the tablet field completely, will be able to experience a budget friendly version of the Galaxy Note 3 phablet.
Anyway, according to the latest rumors, Galaxy Mega 2 5.9 did visit the FCC; the device measures 164.4 x 85 mm – so it is a little bit larger than the Galaxy Mega 5.8, though still smaller than the Galaxy Mega 6.3. The model number tagged for the new handset is SM-G750A while the specs and features list brings nothing new to our attention – we are only having rumors related to the hardware performance of Galaxy Mega 2 5.9.
Anyway, the new phablet will be probably coming with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 5 MP front-facing camera, and a 12MP rear camera along with 8 GB of internal storage and a 720p display. On the other hand, the Mega 2 will feature Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS LTE, NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity enabled.
For now we believe that the SM-G750A Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will make its appearance through AT&T soon, which means that a press release should be made available during the following weeks; so stay close as we will update you with fresh info as soon as something new comes out.
