How to Operate Multiple Computer with single Keyboard and Mouse

If you have multiple computers and want to use all these with one keyboard and mouse that is attached with one of them , then i will guide you how to do it. You can buy hardware to share single input to operate one of machine or use software utility. Choose best option for you, Obviously software utility is good option.

 

I found good option to let it be, its easy and free solution that is Synergy. It works between any number of computer across the any OS platform. That mean you can move your mouse one computer to another computer’s screen, where you can work simultaneously within any number of computer. Synergy also let you share clipboard data in between computer, it mean you can copy the content from the one of your computer and past any of your computer which joined in synergy network.

So, now I’m going to explain how to set-up synergy network across the two different system

Before we get started, you need to know server PC and client PC. First server PC is system that has the keyboard and mouse on which we going to set up synergy network,this will allow your mouse over the another computer’s screen. While client PC with which you want connect your server pc, there can be many client in network.

How to set-up synergy network across the two different system?

Step 1: Download synergy on all of your pc on which you want to setup network.

Step 2 : Open the synergy software  Make sure both computer on same network .

Step 3 : Setup server and client,Then click the Configure Server button to open a Server Configuration dialogue, where you’ll add all the computers that will be controlled by the server’s keyboard and mouse and their position in relation to each other.

Step 4 : Click on configure server butto, drag computer icon into grid panel.

Step 5 :  Double click on that icon to configure. Add the computer name,you can find your computer name by open your Start menu, right-click Computer, and select Properties.

Step 6 : Your computer name is listed under grid panel,set it according to your computer position on your desk.

Step 7 : Now configure for client PC,After you’ve installed your Synergy client, launch Synergy exactly the same way as you did on the server, except choose Client.

Step 8 : Enter the name of your server computer and hit the start button.

Okey you are done now move your mouse pointer server computer to client computer !
