Let me reveal a myth today, you may ever heard that charge your battery at its fullest and then wait for discharging it till death. It wont help in modern Lithium-Iron Batteries, this thing was applicable for Nickel based old batteries and it will even affect worse on your Smartphone’s lithium Iron Battery. So, please don’t fully charge your phone and don’t let it discharge till 0%.
Now, what should you do? How you should charge your battery? The best method to charge your smart phone’s Lithium Iron battery is charge it till 80% and then use it till 30%. Don’t suck your phone’s juice if the battery is less than 30%. So, to take care of your smartphone’s battery just charge it regularly it doesn’t matter how many times you recharge it. :)

And as I have explained above heat means loosing battery performance ! So, stay away from wireless charging.

Never leave your phone in battery dead condition

Yes, you don’t need to put the phone a side without giving a little bit charge to your smartphone’s battery. If you are going on vacation and want to left your phone at home for few days, then please charge it’s battery and then leave it in switched off condition. This rule applicable to all Lithium Iron batteries. So, charge your battery and if possible detach it from phone if you are not going to use it for few days or weeks.
Generally smartphone’s battery last for about 2 to 3 years but, if you follow every method I have described above you can extend it up to 3 to 5 Years. By not following above rules you will lose your smartphone’s battery within 1 or 1 and half year.
