Virgin Mobile US is preparing the release of a new group of mid range Android based smartphones in order to offer great alternatives for those who are thinking in buying a new device, on affordable price tags. Thus, thanks to @evleaks we now know that HTC Desire 816 along with LG Pulse, LG Unify and ZTE Emblem will be soon released through the mentioned retail.
All these devices are mid range handsets with decent, though not impressive, performances. Therefore, the prices will probably be lower than $300, with the HTC Desire 816 being the most expensive phone. Unfortunately these are still only rumors as Virgil Mobile hasn’t confirmed anything yet. Moreover, the G Pulse, LG Unify and ZTE Emblem are three new smartphones about which we don’t know many official details.
On the other hand, we do know almost everything about the Desire 816, which is indeed an interesting Android smartphone that comes with mid range specs and features. So, the Virgin Mobile version of the Desire 816 will bring a 5.5 inch display, along with 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, micro SD card slot, a 13 MP rear facing camera, a 5 MP front facing shooter, a quad core Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 processor and Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware installed above all.
Now as already mentioned there aren’t still any details revealed about the future Virgin Mobile release dates or pricing offers for the HTC Desire 816, LG Pulse, LG Unify and ZTE Emblem, but we will be able to find out more during the following days or weeks – stay close as we will update you with fresh info as soon as something new comes out.
So, are you interested in buying a new mid range and budget friendly Android smartphone, or you rather choose a high end device instead?
