Back in May, LG officially introduced three new G Pad tablets sized 7, 8, and 10.1 inches respectively. After we heard a couple of weeks ago that the LG G Pad 7.0 is available on the European market, now we hear that the LG G Pad 10.1 will debut on the US market later this month.
Even though the LG G Pad 10.1 and its little brothers are aiming to attract the customers looking for a mid-range tablet and their hardware platform doesn’t match the one of the G3, we are glad to announce you that the G Pad 10.1 integrates many of the LG G3 software features.
According to the company’s press release, the LG G Pad 10.1 will leave the factory gates pre-loaded with “the best of the G Series premium UX.” Among other software features, you will be able to enjoy Touch and Shoot camera, the new G3 smart keyboard, and because the G Pad 10.1 arrives with a 10-inch screen you will get to use dual-window mode. The G Pad 10.1 also comes with QPair 2.0 (enables you to sync the tablet with your phone and interact with calls and texts right from the tablet) and Kock Code. The device is available in Black and Red.
Hardware-wise, the LG G Pad 10.1 features a 10.1-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8,000 mAh battery, 5 MP / 1.3 MP camera combo, and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. Even though it’s not the most powerful tablet on the market, the G Pad’s specs aren’t disappointing at all.
The South Korea-based company failed to reveal the exact price of the LG G Pad 10.1, but, as I was mentioning above, they said that it will hit the US market later this month. We are sure that the pricing will be revealed pretty soon.
