In case you want to buy a device that looks like the Xperia Z but comes on a more affordable price, then the Xperia T3 will be perfect for you. The smartphone was officially unveiled in India today, so those who are interesting in buying this device can anytime place a pre-order – the phone will be eventually released starting from July 28.
The Xperia T3 is a mid range Android powered smartphones that comes with an impressive design which keeps the Xperia Z line, though its case it’s made out of plastic material. Currently the Xperia T3 will have to compete with devices like the Google Nexus 5, or with the LG G2 which are available on similar price tags and which might seem like a better deal considering the specs and features aspects.
Anyhow, the Xperia T3 specs are including a 5.3 inch (720p) display, a quad core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, an 8 MP camera on the back and an 1.1 MP front facing shooter. The phone features HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and DLNA along with Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware which comes pre-installed above all.
In India the Xperia T is priced at Rs. 27,990 (which is something around $465) and it will be made available in several retails and online carriers (you can also get it from Flipkart for Rs. 26,990). As already mentioned the phone will be officially released in India starting from July 28, so until then you can decide whether to choose it or not.
After all, the Sony Xperia T3 is just a mid range handset that comes with quite an expensive price tag as you can anytime buy a more affordable device on similar performances.
