Back in May, the South Korea-based introduced their flagship for 2014, the LG G3, a device that was dubbed the most powerful Android smartphone yet. The G3 was made available for purchase in LG’s home land just a couple of days after the launch event and released in parts of Europe a few weeks ago.
Sprint officially revealed their plans for the LG G3 today. According tothe press release posted on their website, the LG G3 will become available as of July 18th and that they will start accepting pre-orders as of July 11th.
The US carrier also revealed that you will be able to get your hands on the device for $0 down then split the fee in $25 monthly payments for 24 months. Furthermore, if you order the LG G3 between July 11 and July 24, Sprint throws in a $150 cash reward card. In case you order it between July 24 and August 14, you’ll get a $100 cash card.
As a refresher, the LG G3 has a 5.5-inch True HD-IPS + LCD display with an amazing resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 534 ppi and it’s available with either 16 GB storage and 2 GB RAM or 32 GB storage and 3 GB of RAM.
Connectivity-wise, the LG G3 arrives with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, LTE, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, and microUSB 2.0. The device is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, has a 2.1 MP user-facing camera, and a 13 MP primary shooter with dual LED flash, laser autofocus, and 4K video recording support.
The LG G3 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, customized with LG’s proprietary skin which includes features like Knock Code or Smart Notice.
