On Tuesday we got word that Google’s mysterious new Nexus 6 had at last shown upin a GFXBench benchmark, although that particular test didn’t give us too many specifics on what the device’s exact hardware specs will be. GSMArena points out that the benchmark has now been updated to include the full specifications and they’re just as impressive as we’d been hoping for.
According to the updated benchmark, the Nexus 6 will feature a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, a Snapdragon 805 processor running at 2.65GHz, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM and Android L.
While we still don’t know when this new device will finally release, we do know that it’s being manufactured by Motorola and it’s based on leaks we’ve seen it’s shaping up to be the flat-out best Nexus smartphone yet released — and that’s impressive consideringhow good the Nexus 5 turned out to be.
If the Nexus 6 follows earlier Nexus models and releases in the fall, it will be just one more great-looking high-end device to release in the coming months, along with the Galaxy Note 4 and the iPhone 6.
