The Verizon One Max is now receiving the brand new Android 4.4.2 build with HTC Sense 6.0 UI update. Check your phone’s notification panel and see if the new firmware upgrade is available for download.
It seems like today is a great day for HTC phones users all over the world. Earlier today, the European HTC One M7 has received the brand new Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update.
The update is rolled out in phases, so you might not get the Android 4.4.2 OTA Update notification today. However, you shouldn’t panic as the new firmware files will arrive for your Verizon HTC One Max by the end of this month. In case the new update isn’t showing up you can go to Settings> About > Software Update and then check for new Android 4.4.2 files.
When the new Android update is ready to download you simply have to confirm the process and then the HTC One Max Verizon will automatically complete the installation. Note that the 3.09.605.2 firmware update measures over 600 MB and you will need to use the Wi-Fi Connection in order to finish the download without problems.
Other changes besides HTC Sense 6 are as follows: tweaks Blinkfeed elements, overall UI update that adds a much more vivid color palette, brand new camera UI, improved Gallery app, new music applications, Home Screen enhancements, added HTC Sense TV feature and new customizable fonts. Other small additions: fixed bugs and enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity, and others.
If you can spot other important changes added by this Android 4.4.2 Update to your Verizon HTC One Max, then feel free to tell us in comments. Also, note that the update is only being rolled out for stock devices, you won’t get the brand new firmware in case you’re running a custom ROM. We hope that this update refreshes your HTC One Max Verizon device and that you will enjoy testing all the new Android 4.4.2 and HTC Sense 6.0 features.
