Android Games of the Week: Assassin’s Creed Pirates, Angry Birds Stella
This week we have compiled the list of Best Android Games by mostly adding Free titles. Note that some of these games are featuring in-app purchases, but most of them will allow you to get rid of ads and gain extra coins and help you complete levels faster.
Angry Birds Stella – FREE
Rovio continues its successful Angry Birds franchise and it has released a brand new iteration called Stella. This game offers the same recipe as you will have to launch birds at pigs and try to earn all stars in the process and complete Rovio’s new story. There are several new birds with new skills and mechanics that you can use in order to finish all levels easier.
Angry Birds Stella is free to play, but after a couple of levels you will start seeings ads and videos that you can’t be skipped. Also, they are tons on in-app purchases in case you want to buy extra in-game coins. Get this game from Google Play Store here.
Assassin’s Creed Pirates – FREE
This is an expansion pack and it is one that will also make the game free to play. Ubisoft will get revenue via in-app purchases as the game was originally available after paying $4.99.
The Assassin’s Creed Pirates Cold Blood is a standalone video game whose story is independent from the Assassin’s Creed computer and console editions. IN the AC Pirates Cold Blood Expansion for Android you will be playing as Alonzo Batilla. Create your own crew and ravage the world of all treasures and goodies so that you will become the most feared pirate in history.
Install Assassin’s Creed Pirates for Android 4.0 and later from here. The latest version of this game adds an extra chapter that takes you to the Arctic Seas and support for customizing ships in order to improve your chances against the forces you will encounter in your quest.
Block Fortress – $1.99
“Minecraft meets Tower Defense” is the slogan used by Foursaken Media to showcase their new Block Fortress video game for Android. Create a stonghold and then start defending it against the waves of Goblocks. You have to carefully build your home and then try and survive for as long as possible. In Block Fortress you can create custom blocks, gear and weapons with the game’s impressive craft system, play in co-op mode, choose from over 30 different wall building block types and 16 turret models, and more.
Block Fortress can be installed on all Android 2.3 and later version from here. In order to install the game you will have to pay $1.99. Also, you can choose to buy extra gear using the in-app purchases system, this will highly increase your chances of beating the game.
## Iconic – FREE
Iconic is a great word-puzzle game that is using icons as hints and you will simply need to guess the word that describes the icons the best. This game contains icons from Movies, People and Music while some new categories will arrive soon with future updates. In case you cannot solve a quiz, then you can choose to head to Facebook and ask for extra help from your friends.
Iconic can be installed on all Android 4.0 and later OS versions from Google Play Store here. You can install the game for free, but you should know that the ads can be removed by paying $2, you will also get extra currency that you can use to gain hints and solve quizzes easier.
