If you are an active kind of person who likes to be in the middle of adventurous situations and who is looking for adrenaline and excitement, then you should buy a smartphone that can satisfy your needs. Thus, you need to use a phone that can capture high res images and which isn’t fragile, as you can easily end up in bricking it. In that matter, an alternative for you might be the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, which has been officially released in Canada.
Until now, the Galaxy S5 Active was available only through the US carrier AT&T. Now, the Canadian users will also be able to buy the extra-rugged sibling of the Galaxy S5 as Bell, Rogers and TELUS are all offering the same. Bell and Rogers are already selling the device, while TELUS will release it officially starting from next week. So, unlikely for the US users who are able to buy the Galaxy S5 Active from one carrier only, in Canada, you will be able to choose from three different retails.
The Canadian version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is priced at $280 on Bell and Rogers, this offer being available along with a new two year assignment. The SIM free variant of the handset can be yours only if you agree to pay $700 – the prices are of course available only for the Canadian market.
The smartphone will embrace the European market later this year, when it will be made available in silver and green, on a price tag of €629. As we all know, the S5 Active is coming with the same hardware performance as the Galaxy S5 and features like compass, barometer, stopwatch and flash light. Moreover, it is also IP67-certified for water and dust resistance.
