The Nexus 7 is sold out in the Google Play Store, but the device can still be found for consumers looking to take advantage of a good deal, Android Origin reports.
A refurbished version of tablet is now being offered for just $129 on eBay, which includes a leather case, and $149 on Amazon. Those looking for a new one, however, can grab the tablet for around $200 on both eBay and Amazon.
A new leak out of Brazil has allegedly tipped the tablet's successor for a launch at HTC's scheduled event for Oct. 8, Gizbot reports.
The Nexus 8 will reportedly "dominate" the "Double Exposure" New York event, although rumors have also suggested HTC will unveil a rugged camera accessory, as well.
NVIDIA has also seemingly confirmed the upcoming tablet will pack its Tegra K1 CPU, Bright Side of News reports.
The tablet is believed to be the rumored Nexus 8/9, which is listed with the K1 in NVIDIA documents relevant to the company's legal battle with Qualcomm and Samsung over GPU technology patents, Droid-Life notes. The documents also reportedly tip the device for a release date sometime during Q3 of this year - which means it should arrive pretty soon considering we are currently in Q3.
Recent alleged screenshots reportedly confirmed the tablet will arrive with the Nvidia K1 64-bit Denver chip, Android Geeks reports.
The screenshots, which were posted to Youtube by TKTech News, reveal the 64-bit uses two ARMv8 architecture compatible 2.5 GHz Denver CPU cores. The GPU, meanwhile, is a 192-core Kepler.
The chipset was previously tipped for the tablet by leaker @upleaks.
The Nexus 8/9 is believed to feature high-end hardware in an aluminum unibody.
@evleaks previously revealed that the device will pack the Tegra K1 processor, 64GB of internal storage, and either a 5MP or 8MP rear-facing camera. The Nexus 8 is also now being tipped for an 8.9-inch display with 2,560x1,600 pixel resolution, instead of the 2,048x1,440 pixel resolution previously reported.
