Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 1 Update for Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 3, HTC One M7 and One M8 Now Available for Download

The Paranoid Android team is currently working on releasing a full and stable build based on Android 4.4.4 and Android L for various Samsung devices. At the moment PA team has hit the 1st stage of PA 4.6 Beta ROM and it is rolling it out for Galaxy S3 and S4, Galaxy Note, Note 2 and Note 3, and for tons of other smartphones via their AOSPA Legacy program.

AOSPA Legacy is a project designed by Paranoid Android team and it targets users of non-Nexus devices. Every time a new PA 4.x build is released you will see it first made available for Nexus phones and tablets. The previous PA 4.5 Builds have been introducing elements borrowed from Google’s Android L Preview release and the PA 4.6 Build goes further and it now brings the Dynamic System Bars for all supported devices.

Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 1 build is adding the following changes: support for swipe-up gesture to dismiss the Hover notification easily and fast, it also fixes various errors and bugs discovered in the previously released ROMs. If you will find any bugs with this new build, then it would be best for you to report it at the developing team support web page here.

PA 4.6 Beta 1 ROM is currently supported by a multitude of smartphones such as: most of the Galaxy smartphones from Samsung, HTC One M7 and One M8, HTC One Mini M4, some Motorola variants, Galaxy tablets, and others more. Open the device’s dedicated web page and download the latest file available, install it using a custom Recovery such as CWM or TWRP.

We will post in the coming weeks tutorials for numerous Android devices that are supporting the PA 4.6 Beta builds, so that beginners will learn easily how to flash such ROMs. Keep in mind that this custom ROM is in its Beta stage and you might not get a stable Android 4.4.4 KitKat experience, so it would be best for you to keep a full backup of the previous ROM before considering installing any new files.

Download one of the PA 4.6 Beta 1 ROM for your smartphone from Paranoid Android Download page here. Find your smartphone or tablet model, download the latest build, then get the Gapps file and download it, too. Place both zip files on your device’s internal storage, boot Custom Recovery Mode and install all files for the process to complete. Note that these custom ROMs will only work for devices that are rooted and running a custom Recovery image such as CWM or TWRP.
