Motorola made a great deal with its Moto G and Moto X Android based smartphones. The devices were offered on budget friendly prices even though the general performances were more than decent, whether we are talking about entry level or advanced users. Also, Moto G and Moto X received Android OTA updates similar with Nexus branded devices, which is quite impressing as other companies like Samsung or Sony are still struggling in providing KitKat OS improvements for several smartphones and tablets.
Now, as expected, Motorola will soon release new versions of Moto G and Moto X. The new Moto X has been already prefaced, though nothing is yet official. Keeping the same line of events, now we have something new for you, the new Moto G being leaked through an Indian import-export website. The Zumba listing is actually offering important info related to the future availability of your Moto G2, such as official release date and pricing offers.
Apparently, the new Moto G will soon be made available in India and soon after that through other various markets including Europe and US. Now, Motorola will most likely unveil the new Moto G on September 5th, in India on a dedicated event. Moto G2 will carry the model number of XT1068 and it will come (specs wise) with a 5 inch 720p display, a quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU, with an 8 MP camera on the back, with dual SIM capabilities and with the latest version of Android OS.
According to the same listing, the new Moto G will be priced at Rs. 10,600 (which is somewhere around $175). If this is true, then the Moto G2 will be cheaper than the first variant, which was released with the price tag of Rs. 10,900. The new model will also be available in two models: 8 GB and 16 GB variants; and in two colors: black and white.
That’s all for now, but stay close as we will update you with fresh info as soon as something new comes out.
