New LG G2 Android 4.4.2 Update Is Now Being Pushed to Sprint Users
A brand new KitKat ZVE firmware update has been released by Sprint for LG G2 Users. It is not a major update, but it still adds several key features and tweaks that should offer you an even better Android 4.4.2 KitKat experience. This release comes a week after Sprint hasreleased a new KitKat 4.4.2 build for the HTC One M7 model.
This new builds has its version set to ZVE and it comes with improvements for LTE, tweaked HD Voice and a Google Security patches. There are no other tweaks listed on Sprint’s changelog, but there should also be some bug fixes, UI improvements and other small tweaks that should make your LG G2 work better than ever before.
Android 4.4.2 KitKat ZVE for Sprint LG G2 devices might possibly be the final KitKat build we will see released for this device, as Google has finally presented its Android 5.0 Lollipop future OS upgrade. LG along with all LG G2 carriers across US should start working on integrating the Lollipop 5.0 OS and make it ready for a 2015 official release.
Since this is not a major update it means that all Sprint LG G2 users will get the new firmware before the end of October surely. If the update is sent your way, then you should simply confirm the download process and then wait until your device completes installation automatically. If you want to manually look for new files, then you should simply tap on the ‘Apps’ button, then go to Settings menu, open System Updates, tap on the Update LG Software option and then press the ‘Check Now’ button. If a new system update is available for download, then confirm the process and then wait until the process is complete.
Tell us in comments if the update has been sent to your LG G2 Sprint device. Also, make sure to list some other small changes that aren’t listed above nor on the Sprint update support page.
