Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 Prices Revealed by Media Markt’s Inventory
Various sources are speculating that both the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will be officially introduced by Google later today. In the meantime, we get to find out more about the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 price.
According to a couple of screenshots posted by Caschys Blog, both devices will be more expensive than their predecessors. The HTC Nexus 9 and the Motorola Nexus 6 have been spotted in German retailer Media Markt inventory priced starting at €399 and €569, respectively. Due to taxes and import fees, the European retailers are usually selling products at higher prices, so, on the US market, the two devices might have starting prices of $399 and $569.
If the report proves true, then the cheapest Nexus 6 (with 32 GB) could be $220 more expensive than its predecessor, while the Nexus 9 could be $110 more expensive than the Nexus 7 2013. Media Markt is listing the Nexus 6 64 GB at a price of $649. Both phone models are available on White and Black. While the Nexus 9 WiFi 16 GB has a price of $399, the 32 GB model is priced at $489. It looks that a Nexus 9 LTE could also be released, at a price of $569 with 32 GB of storage.
I remind you that both devices are rumored to arrive with flagship-worthy technical specifications. The Motorola Nexus 6 is expected to pack a 5.9-inch Quad HD screen, quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, a massive 3,200 mAh battery, 2 MP user-facing camera, and a 13 MP primary shooter with dual-LED flash, optical image stabilization, and 4K video recording support. On the other hand Nexus 9 might feature an 8.9-inch screen with 4:3 resolution, 64-bit Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 8 MP primary cam, 3 MP secondary cam, and a Nexus 5 -like soft touch plastic back. Of course, both terminals will come pre-loaded with Android L.
