Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4 Update for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 Now Live

Paranoid Android is one of the most popular custom ROMs, so if you are tired of stock Android you should give it a go. The developers announced on their Google Plus page that the Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4 update for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and other supported devices is now available for download.
With the new Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta builds, the Paranoid team is willing to let you taste some of the Android L-specific aesthetics before the new Android version is made available publicly, like the new Android L Dynamic Status Bar or Recents. According to the official changelog, the Beta 4 build makes all Quick Settings tiles act similarly in edit mode, adds a new default AOSPA wallpaper, improves speed and stability, and brings enhancements to Peek.
I’m currently using a Nexus 5 running Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4 as a daily driver and I didn’t notice any major bugs in the short time I had it installed on my smartphone. There are no unusual battery drains and no annoying crashes. The experience, as a whole, is smooth and enjoyable, so it’s safe to say that PA 4.6 can already be used as a daily driver.
Besides releasing the Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4 update for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10, the team also made the new builds available for other supported devices. You will also be able to enjoy PA 4.6 Beta 4 on OnePlus One, Oppo Find 5, Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a, Galaxy Nexus (GSM, Verizon, and Sprint), and Oppo N1. You will be able to find the Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4 builds for any of the aforementioned devices on their official download page here.
You shouldn’t have any troubles installing Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4 on your device if you have some experience with flashing custom ROMs. After you have successfully unlocked the bootloader, gained root access, and flashed a custom recovery, you will need to download PA 4.6 Beta 4 from here and Gapps from here. Copy both ZIP files on your smartphone / tablet, then boot into recovery mode. Go to ‘install zip from sdcard,’ the to ‘choose zip from sdcard,’ and navigate to the location where you copied PA 4.6 Beta 4 and Gapps. Select both files, then flash them like you would any other ZIP. Go back, apply factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik (just in case), then reboot. Now you should be running Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 4.
In case you have no idea what you’re doing, we recommend you to check out our tutorials on how to install Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta. Even though the tutorials are for PA 4.5, the installation steps are the same, but you will have to replace the PA 4.5 ZIP file with the PA 4.6 Beta 4 ZIP you have downloaded from the source above. You will find tutorials for flashing Paranoid Android on Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 hereand here, respectively. You will find help for installing it on a Nexus 10 here, while the tutorials here and here will help you flash it on Nexus 7 2012 WiFi and Nexus 7 2012 3G. If you happen to own a Nexus 7 2013 WiFi or a Nexus 7 2013 LTE you will find help here andhere.
