Wearables are becoming the new type of device that all major companies are developing for consumers, and with new hardware comes new applications. Microsofthas unveiled a new “analog keyboard” for Android Wear that lets you enter text on a smartwatch by drawing letters and numbers with your fingers.
The keyboard supports smartwatch screens – like the Moto 360 – that are 320 x 320 resolution. Other companies like Minuum and others have tried their own versions of this type of the keyboard app, but it looks like Microsoft may have created the best yet. Sure, voice input is still the best for a smartwatch, but when you’re in public, you may want to give this app a try.
The Microsoft Analog Keyboard for Android Wear is available for download here. Check out the video below to see it in action.
