Galaxy Nexus Android 5.0 Lollipop Unofficial Port Now Available
Mid-October, the folks at Google officially announced Android 5.0 Lollipop and, unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Nexus is not among the supported devices. In fact the Samsung-made Nexus phone hasn’t even received the KitKat update. Not long ago, the Lollipop source code was updated to the AOSP repository and now it an unofficial Galaxy Nexus Android 5.0 Lollipop port is available for download.
The unofficial Android 5.0 Lollipop port for Galaxy Nexus has been created by a number of users from XDA-Developers and since they din’t have too much time to test it it might contain so serious bugs. It’s also worth noting that, for the time being, there’s no Gapps package available for the build.
It requires some advanced skills to be able to install the Android 5.0 Lollipop port on your Galaxy Nexus, therefore, if you have no idea what you’re doing it’s advisable to wait until the official update is rolled out. If you still want to install this build on your terminal you can also wait until our team posts a detailed tutorial on how to install unofficial Android 5.0 Lollipop port on Galaxy Nexus.
