Best Android Games of the December Week: Game of Thrones, Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath

Check our list below and see if you can find a brand new favorite Android video game. Most games below are paid, but you will at least avoid any in-app purchases.

Game of Thrones Episode 1 – $4.99

Game of Thrones is probably one of the most popular TV Shows since the dawn of television and TellTale has developed a video game for Android devices that puts you in Westeros. In this game you will play as a member of the House Forrester, banners to House Stark. Find your way through the world invented by George R. R. Martin and try to make your House relevant in the War of the Five Kings.

TellTale has only launched the first episode, while the rest of the remaining five episodes will be released on a fixed schedule in the coming months. Every single episode will be available as an in-app purchase, but you can get all the episodes as a Season Pass with a discount of 15% per episode.

The Game of Thrones video game is live from Google’s Play Store starting with #4.99. Note that you can install this game on all the Android 2.3.3 and later OS versions, but it is highly recommended to run it on Android 4.x and later versions.

Pixel Boat Rush – $2.49

This is a pixelated racing video game that will have you controlling a speeding boat in a 2D world. The game also has a small story and career mode. Pixel Boat Rush is available from Google’s Play Store for $2.49 here. It can be installed only on Android 2.3 and later OS editions. The game is free on any extra in-app purchases.

Inferno 2 – $2.99

This is the sequel to Inferno+ and Radiangames has decided that the original edition needed a sequel title, so here’s Inferno 2. You will still be controlling a tiny ship filled with almost endless ammunition and a sole objective of destroying all the enemies in your path. The game is highly addictive as it features more than eighty levels and three levels of difficulty. So, think hard before installing it.

Inferno 2 can be purchased from Google Play Store here for only $2.99. You can still this game only on Android 2.3 and later OS editions and there are no in-app purchases.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath – $5.99

One of the most popular action adventure video games that we’ve seen released in 2005 for the original Xbox console is now live for Android and iOS devices. Stranger’s Wrath is an interesting title where you will play as the bounty hunter called Stranger. The on-screen controls of this title are great as you will easily be able to fire all kings of things at your enemies while attempting to collect bounties and finish all game missions.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath can be installed on all the Android 4.0 and later devices. Install it from Google Play Store here for $5.99. There are no in-app purchases in this title.

Scrolls – FREE

Scroll is a tower-defense card game that is filled with strategy elements. Use a random pack of cards and deploy your troops and items in order to protect the ‘idols’ while attempting to destroy the ‘idols’ on the opposing team’s side. This game offers for free only the Demo, you will have to pay $5 in order to unlock the full edition through the in-app purchases system.

Impossible Draw – FREE

This game will have you drawing using gestures in order to complete the missions and make the barriers go down in order to advanced through the gameplay. The game is very similar to SmashHit only that in this one you will need to draw in order to go past barriers, while in SmashHit you had to use balls in order to destroy the barriers.
