Best Android Games of the Week: Ski Challenge 15, Godus, Call of Duty Heroes and more

All the Android games are free to play, but note that some of these are packing in-app purchases. Use the IAPs only if you wish to complete levels faster, but make sure that you won’t overspend and to supervise your kids if you’re allowing them to use your Android device.

Godus – FREE

If you’re ever thought that you should be a god, then this is the game that you should try. Godus offers you the possibility to control a primitive village and model it until all of its inhabitants are civilized. Control the earth and water layers in order to allow your worshipers to thrive and help them live in spaces that are richer in resources than others. Also, if some of your followers aren’t acting as you would expect them to morally, then you can smite them from time to time with some godly natural disasters.

Godus can be installed on all Android 4.0.3 and later versions from Google Play Store here. Note that game will require a permanent internet connection in order to work.

Call of Duty Heroes – FREE

If you’re a Call of Duty enthusiast and you like tower defense video games, then you should install this title on your device. It isn’t that much more different than other tower defense games: it offers a leveling system, killstreaks that will allow you to initiate blasting attacks and defeat all enemies faster and much more efficiently.

CoD: Heroes can be installed freely from Google Play Store here. You can install this title on all Android 2.3.3 and later versions, but it is highly recommended to play it on newer Android versions with better hardware.

Ski Challenge 15 – FREE

This winter sport game packs ten of the most important downhill slopes around the world such as Garmisch, Kitzbuhel, Groden, Beaver Creek, Bormio, and more others. It features a 3D engine with weather condition changes, an online mode with rankings lists, tournaments and worldwide competitions against other human players.

Ski Challenge 15 can be played on all the Android 2.3 and later versions. Install the game for free from Google Play Store here, but note that it contains in-app purchases, too.

Offroad Legends 2 – FREE

The second installment in Offroad Legends in now live and you can download it right now freely. It isn’t much more different than the original title, as you will get new tracks, vehicles and it adds support for controllers. The Kids Mode is great if you have children as they will be able to play on easier tracks.

The entire game packs more than forty tracks, turn based multiplayer mode, monster trucks, oldtimers, desert trucks and more. This game can be installed on all the Android 2.3 and later versions from Google Play Store here. Note that the game is free to play, but you can use in-app purchases in order to get new cars.

Run Sackboy! Run! – FREE

One of the most popular LittleBigPlanet characters has its own game now on Android. Play as Sackboy and run for as long your knitted little legs allow you to. Collect stickers and run as fast as you can, use the power ups and upgrades in order to score higher than your friends. Also, make sure to customize your character, so that you won’t get bored of this interesting endless runner.
